VEGAS Pro Extensions & Scripts
VEGAS Pro extensions are dockable panels and tools that add features VEGAS Pro doesn't have out of the box: preset libraries, motion tracking, automatic zooms, batch actions, timeline helpers and more. Scripts automate a task in one click from the Tools › Scripting menu.
Every tool on VISFX Market is made by VEGAS Pro editors, lists the VEGAS Pro versions it supports, and can be downloaded for free or bought once, with free trials on many premium extensions.
FAQ
How do I install a VEGAS Pro extension?
Close VEGAS Pro, copy the extension's .dll into C:\ProgramData\VEGAS Pro\Application Extensions (create the folder if needed), then start VEGAS Pro and open it from View › Extensions. Most extensions on VISFX Market ship with an installer that does this for you.
What is the difference between a script and an extension?
A script (.cs or .js) runs once from Tools › Scripting to automate a task. An extension (.dll) stays loaded in VEGAS Pro and usually adds a dockable panel you can keep open while editing.
Which VEGAS Pro versions are supported?
Each resource lists its compatible versions on its page (for example VEGAS Pro 14–23). Recent extensions target VEGAS Pro 21 and later; older Sony Vegas versions use separate builds when available.
Are there free VEGAS Pro extensions?
Yes. Use the Free filter in the catalogue: free tools can be downloaded right away, and many premium extensions offer a free trial before you buy.
